On Thursday, June 29, 2006, the US Department of Homeland Security announced 25 contract awards for IT Services as part of the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway Leading Edge (EAGLE) solution program. EAGLE will serve as a DHS-wide platform for acquiring IT services in five functional categories. As you might know, LMIT was one of the 7 awardees in Functional Category Two – Operation and Maintenance.

On Thursday, July 27, 2006, LMIT will host an EAGLE (Functional Category 2) Kickoff Dinner at the City Club of Washington at Columbia Square, 555 13th Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20004. The Reception will begin at 6:30pm and Dinner will be served at 7:00pm. The kickoff dinner will afford us an opportunity to begin a planning dialogue intended to help us maximize efficient competitive practices for placing orders against DHS multiple-award task order contracts. The Kickoff Dinner is a “by invitation only” event. Each small business partner who has received a master subcontracting package, completed and returned it can expect to attend. Each small business invitee will be allowed two participants. Please indicate your plans to participated in this event by registering your company using the code provided in your e-mail invitation. The deadline to register for the Eagle Kick-Off is Monday, July 24th, No Exceptions.
